Alumni Happy Hours – Jim France & Daughter!

A special treat for this week’s Alumni Happy Hours – Jim France (’78) returns but this time he’s bringing along his daughter Heather, currently a student at York College and a DJ at York’s WVYC. He’ll be spinning the records while she explains how radio works now. As a bonus, WVYC will be carrying the show as a simulcast in York, PA!

Since leaving us he’s been seen hobnobbing with the various elites of sports while working for ESPN. Although he knows the Devils will never win another Cup, he’s still a devoted fan. Alumni Happy Hours: Ed Stanley & Michelle

Ed Stanley returns today, but instead of Jim Perrone in tow, he has his daughter Michelle! They will be doing a “Then and Now” show. With Ed “A Little Bit Country” playing hits from the late 70′s and early 80′s, and Michelle “A Little Bit Rock and Roll” spinning more recent hits that those old folks won’t know. She’ll be doing most of the computer-related stuff, like answering chat messages, entering songs into the log, etc. and helping cue up songs, because she said she’s too nervous to speak on-air. Hopefully, we can get her on-air at least once. Any bets on how long until we hear “Dad! You’re embarrassing me!”?
